Untitled Writing

Don’t call me high school

When its you

Don’t call me rude

When that’s coming from your side of the room

It’s not your place to say

Whats running through my head

It’s not your place to know

Everything I’ve left unsaid

Don’t talk in code to my face

Like I’m too dumb to know what it means

Don’t leave me behind

Because you’ve got no space left in your heart

In your mind

In your world there’s nothing left for me

In your world there’s no room for three

We’ve tried and tried and tried again

And failed every friend

Let me walk now

And I won’t regret every moment

Left to be free

I won’t hate everything we used to be

Look into your big heart

And see if you can find the spot that used to be me

Thanks. My little brother wrote that birthday song for me and then wrote an even better one that he sang for me later. I tend to write from the heart and its often just pure emotion i throw onto the page glad it comes through as good writing

this is some great stuff man, i like how your connection to the subject (passion) comes through in the word choice. the birthday song was pretty good too, like opposite sides of the same coin. good stuff.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.
