another
She was a lonely kid
Quiet.
Didnt talk often.

She was sweet and shy,
and stayed in her shell,
to keep her safe.

But one day,
she used her voice,
And discovered it was a wonderful thing.

a voice she hardly used before,
One people wanted to hear,
loved to hear.

She kept hidden,
until that day,
when she knew it would be ok.

She spoke more freely,
opened up to people more easily.

all because of that one person,
Who wasnt afraid to talk to her.

One person made all the difference.
its only took one.
One to help her become who she is today.

I agree with StarPoet. All it ever takes is just one person. I also had a teacher who took an interest in me and helped me overcome some things. This is a beautiful and well writtem poem.

wow...that pretty much summed up my childhood. I did not open up 'til high school. I was a very shy girl. Very good :)

I like this for it reminds me of me when I was little, and I had a teacher that slowly helped me to break out of my shell. Thats all it took was one person. Good job!
