Lacuna Eidolon

Lacuna Eidolon

A lifetime full of dreams, all of them misplaced

Lacuna

Where did I leave myself; footsteps lost retraced

Eidolon

A love strong and righteous, riddled through with holes

Lacuna

Who am I? What am I? Akin to lost souls

Eidolon

Living life so determined, with no real identity

Lacuna

Separated from my pain, for naught no serenity

Eidolon

My completion shattered; betrayal – lustful sin

Lacuna

Shadow of which I was, shade of could’ve been

Eidolon

Epic struggle to stay sane, facets that were me gone

Lacuna

Specter of an honorable man, lost to oblivion

Eidolon

Dedicated to a delusion, even though she is done

I will journey time and space, Lacuna Eidolon

Very unique way of finding a pseudonym. I find it very interesting. Good luck with your book!!

I like the way you describe your feelings with your name. It takes brutal honesty to see the good and the bad in yourself and yet still continue to write about them to the world. Good job, once again.

Synopsis
I wrote this poem to describe my Psuedonym and how it fits me. Lacuna, or a missing thing became my descriptor for the parts of me me I felt were missing and Eidolon, a ghostly figure/soul is where the parts were missing from. My wife and her affairs left me somewhat tortured and feeling betrayed, and ultimately left every part of me feeling broken. I made up this alter ego after perusing a dictionary and finding 2 words that kinda' described how I felt and they kinda' sounded like a name from a fantasy book. Lacuna Eidolon initially became my profile name for everything I was into and eventually became another name I call myself. I am in the process of writing a book with Lacuna Eidolon as the main character, we shall see how that goes...
