Human Swamp Water

Fitting everywhere, yet belonging nowhere,

Comes a loud, friendly greeting, and a silent goodbye.

Screaming extraordinary and dripping melancholy

Claustrophobic socialite and disappointed recluse

Comedian, politician, spiritual fanatic

Musician, beautician, conservative addict

Athletic and trained, simple-minded arbitrator

Artistic and untamed, neurotic philosopher

Lost cause or the cause?

Creative genius or destructive insanity?

What you see is what you get,

Depends on whose eyes are watching.

Fitting everywhere, yet belonging nowhere

Comes a loud, friendly greeting and a silent goodbye.
