Ubsession

The essence of her beauty

Is what his life required

And the comforting hug of her love

Is what his heart desired

As his eye’s crawled

Slowly up towards her lips

His mind fulfilled his wish

With an imaginary kiss

He’s filled with thoughts

but the emptiness of not

having her tears him apart

but she’s a stranger to his love

and only an image to her eyes

and to him the desire of wanting

is where the obsession lies

the age is far from a percepteable difference of her’s

so he rush back to the park to play

because he’s equivalent to

the tomarrow of today

I like this for it speaks of those things we as boys felt for a certain girl that we know would not like us. And even today as men this still holds true. (At least this is how I take your poem.)
