Getting Crazy

Let me tell you all a story,
A story bout a kid named Joe.
He lived with guts and glory,
Liked to just go with the flow.

Country buy Joe left for the city.
He wanted to see the bright lights,
And those lights were so pretty,
He saw some amazing sights.

Well old Joe got himself a little off track,
Now there’s a golden eyed monkey on his back.
And he feels like he just might,
Do something crazy tonight!

Now we move to a kid named Bill.
He was a young man who saw god,
The first time he snorted a pill.
Lately Billy’s been acting a little odd.

Outside a pharmacy at the break of dawn,
We find our little buddy Billy boy,
Waiting in the dark with a ski mask on,
That night two lives were destroyed.

Now lil Billy’s heading to county jail,
He’s got no friends left to post his bail.
And he feels like he just might,
Do something crazy tonight!

Finally I’ll tell you bout a kid named Ed.
The army sent his brother off to war,
And the enemy sent him back dead.
When he heard the news Eddy hit the floor.

Well old Ed went down into the streets,
He was thinking about bustin some heads.
All he really wanted was to numb the grief,
But he couldn’t bring his brother back from the dead.

Now he’s holdin onto a loaded gun,
Just wonderin why life quit being fun.
And he feels like he just might,
Do something crazy tonight!

Let’s all get crazy tonight!
Yea let’s chase the serpents bite!
Let’s all get crazy tonight!
Yea let’s go out and start a fight!
Let’s all get crazy tonight!
Yea let’s catch the next care flight!
Let’s all get crazy tonight!
