Scoffing at an Angel
Oh my dearest sweet Angel
Fallen down upon your wings
A hungry serpent’s shiny toy
Heart hanging by sinewy strings

Into the vortex of my dark matter soul
Broken haloed hopes and dreams I did capture
From behind your innocent furrowed brow
Siphoned as you slept in post coital rapture

Solace you sought in my chilling embrace
Of debauchery and disgraceful wanting
Within my deathly grip you’re ensnared
You’ve been exiled to eternal suffering
