BlindLove

I was blind but now I see
That your love can set me free.
I see you walking.
I’ve got to stare.
It’s as if not another soul was there.
I have to look,
I love you so.
I’ll take your hand.
And never let go.
If I hold you tight,

Will you promise to stay?
If I kiss you will you promise to say,
The three small words
That mean so much.
The ones that show me,
You love me and such.
Together
Forever.
It gets better and better.

You took my heart.
It is yours alone.
And now I’m just hoping that
You’ll take it home.
It was dark, but now it’s light.
It is your love that makes it bright.

Crystal clear, the world is now.

So clean and clear,
No one can drown.
Your eyes are a portal
Into your soul.
Into your heart.
I hope you know,
That I was blind but now I see.
Because your love’s a part of me.

Synopsis
I wrote this poem when I met someone that I deeply care for, though they are not a boyfriend, nor a girlfriend, but a close friend.
