This Unfair World and Me
I’m
sure you know how it feels
When
you’re so down and so alone,
And
you keep asking yourself
Why
do you have to carry the world on your own?
But
try turning the globe
To
see what’s on the other side
Did
you focus on those laughing clowns?
Or
did you notice the weeping child?
If you
see your sullen face
When
you look at your reflection in the river
Bear
in mind, all dots are connected in a circle
Unknown
tears are hidden in that body of water
In
case your heart is struggling to find the sun
Remember,
a stranger is burning due to anger’s heat
By
the time you’re hoping for your long day to end
Someone’s
praying for just another heartbeat
So
what’s the point in these words:
“This
unfair world and me.”
When
you haven’t seen the earth from the outer space?
But
I’m not saying, we should find strength from others’ misery
We
must stop wishing for the world to always tilt to our side
For
we are the ones exaggerating our own agony
