Solitude Bliss
Solitude Bliss
I see the stars
twinkling
On this cold, dark
night.
I am not feeling the
trance,
Simply embracing the
chance.
Frogs have hidden
once again
And my only tune is
my breath;
With soft whispers of
pine trees
Orchestrating the
gentle breeze.
The mystifying gift
of silence,
Not highlighted by
despair.
No happy beats that
upkeep
But depression
doesn’t creep.
And I walk home
slowly,
Still alone but not
lonely.
