Solitude Bliss

Solitude Bliss

I see the stars twinkling

On this cold, dark night.

I am not feeling the trance,

Simply embracing the chance.

Frogs have hidden once again

And my only tune is my breath;

With soft whispers of pine trees

Orchestrating the gentle breeze.

The mystifying gift of silence,

Not highlighted by despair.

No happy beats that upkeep

But depression doesn’t creep.

And I walk home slowly,

Still alone but not lonely.

The tone is very calm and really portays how pleasant it can be to be alone sometimes...

Not happy, not sad, just peaceful, feeling the cold air on your cheeks!

WISH I COULD DREAM FOREVER

Selene, enchantress of the night,
Chain me with light
To this wonder –
My dream’s zephyr.

Let me drift to a paradise
Where no one lies,
And no disdain
Runs through my veins.

Whisper me Endymion’s curse –
Zeus’ spell verse,
So dire sunbeams
Won’t fail my dreams.
