Prairie Winds

Prairie Winds

Prairie Winds coming out of the West, whispering ever so gently to me, my mind wondering through the wide open plains.  With only memories that are locked away deep inside of my wondering mind.  These prairie winds sing a melody of a sweet scent of life’s long lost trails, it’s such disarray .  I f I sit long enough I can hear the prairie winds inviting me to stay and play.  When upon the fires red skies cools down on to the oceans deep blue ,it is then that I know it’s time for me to roll.  The prairie winds follow me wherever I roam, in the northern lights high upon the heavens night sky.  That’s where I call home tonight.  Falling asleep fast eyes closing upon the lullaby I hear is the sweet and gentle whisper song of the prairie winds tonight.
