New Year

New Year

The New Year just came in like a hellish wind, was totally insane as it tore up everything in its way.  The New Year caught me off guard I didn’t know what to say, as it threw me to the ground racing past me like a mad bull through a crowd.  The New Year came in a cool and brisk chill Artic blast as if from the North of Maine.

My resolution was broken within two minutes past midnight; I didn’t even stand a chance.  It wasn’t my fault those sweet tasting brownies were begging me to devoured them, sitting there so lonely looking their holiday best who could resist them.  They felt so good the minute they filled my tummy.

Oh new year why are you so cruel you pressure me do my best to stay true to my weight loss resolution and you place these sweet chocolate goodies in front of me, to tease me in to insanity.

So when New Year rears its ugly head just remember this there is no resolution worth that guilt trip that will surely turn you in to a basket case. Especially when you know the truth you know you love those sweet home made holiday brownies that you been dreaming about all year long inside your head.
