Have You Seen Me

Have You Seen Me

I stared in to your eyes, didn’t you see me?

When the thunder and lighting came as scared as you were, didn’t you feel me?

When you felt hopeless like life was so unfair, didn’t you know I was with you to give you hope?

When your heart pounded with happiness and excitement out of your chest, because that news you just got was great.  I was the blood flowing though your veins.

My name is life sometimes I can get pretty confusing, but for the most part I am very simple and beautiful.  When you don’t see me is because your way too busy to take time and look for me.  When you’re scared I give you that little shot of adrenaline to spice things up and keep the boredom from setting in.  Hopelessness and unfairness are some of the sneaky side affects, I play on you to keep you and help you stay focus.  I trick you to keep you focused on the special people in you life, who love you and care for you.  Even people who you haven’t met in life yet.  Just like that homeless man who you just threw a dollar in to the cup by his hand.  I make your heart pound with excitement just to let you feel that great feeling when you helped someone less fortunate than you.  This feeling I call humanity and caring, it flows through your veins to keep you on your toes.  These little surprises are what keep making this thing called life great and interesting.  So once in a while in the rush of every day take a breather and enjoy life, she’s quite an interesting and great lady.
