A Rich, Racist White Man's Lament
A Rich, Racist White Man’s Lament
By Elton Camp
I can’t believe that fellow got it again
I thought sure that Romney would win
I surely can’t see any good reason why
The people would elect some black guy
There’s not a thing about him to praise
Why, our income tax he wants to raise
Universal health care he wants to see
The poor with coverage equal to me
And those fags he wants to let wed
He certainly must be out of his head
I suspect Donald Trump has a point
He was born in some African joint
An American citizen he can’t be
It’s an uppity foreigner that I see
I was so hoping he would take a lickin’
So W.H. won’t smell of fried chicken
For four more years he will be able
To keep watermelon on its table
This turn of events I didn’t expect
And to them I strenuously object
