Lost in the Sauce

Lost In The Sauce

Lyrics:

Intro

(Verse Instrumental)

I grew…

Verse:

…lost in the sauce

Falling head over heel

Saw a sparkle in your eyes

And great I did feel

Next, you touched my soul

And captured my heart

So sad right now that

We’re grown apart

Verse:

Now, I miss you so much

And I’ll never forget

The time we shared

You’re the best I admit

Time together so great

But journey turned blind

For one more kiss now

How I’d rewind

Bridge:

Then, I lost 20k

And my hair turned gray

But, regret our times ever

No I do say

Still, I treasure great times

And miss you much

How you melted my heart

Without even one touch

Left only with memories

And missed opportunities

Lost all alone – now

Verse:

Now, I’m stuck on this island

Stumbling all alone

Miss all those shared times

And the love you shown

Maybe in the future

Lost I won’t be

Just maybe you’ll come back

And set me free

Thanks for the feedback... if you can think of the 50 cent song, please let me know the title of the song that you are referencing... I would love to look it up! Thank you for the support!

You wrote a song here that so many men can relate to. And the "bridge" question holds true. A recent popular song (I think 50 cent) asks some of the same questions here.
