Lost Cat

There's a lost cat
Who needs a loving home
It walks all around
Throughout hoods it'll comb

If it stays out too long
It'll forget how to love
It's feeling like an ugly duck
But wants to be a dove

Without a loving home
The cat is lost for sure
It'll get mean and mad
A true disease without a cure

Time is running out --
The cat is getting old
The cat keeps some hope
Even while it's heart turns cold
