Mother

As I fell from taking my first steps you picked me up and help my hand

When I first spoke you were there listening to what I had to say

I was scared to go in to school the first day, but you told me you would be there to pick me up

As the years go by I get older and more independent soon to be on my own in the world

Even though I am on my own you are still deep in my heart always there

For if I am in trouble you still give that helping hand

When I ask for your guidance you listen to my troubles

And no matter what size I become you always hold me when I am afraid

You my mother are the hero that is always there and your glory is in my heart
