the question.
the question.

“What happens when we die?”

the little girl asked.

I hesitated before I replied,

“Well you must first look at your past.

Did you always offer help

whenever you possibly could?

Were you honest in your life?

Did you do everything you should?

More importantly though,

Did you cherish each and every hour?

Did you spend your time with loved ones?

Did you blossom like a flower?

Did you take the time to look

and ponder the little things?

Such as how the wind is blowing

or how that bird has wings?

Did you listen to the music?

Did you make your dreams come true?

Did you fight for what you believe in?

Did you believe in you?

All I can tell you, little girl,

is that life is sometimes rough,

but you have to listen to your heart

and that should be enough.

So what happens when we die?

Well, I guess that’s up to you.

Just live your life the best you can

Because that’s all that you can do.”

Well done. A question for the ages that we all should think on. And asked from the childs point of view makes it even better.
