Beloved
You say you're a killer
and you know that it's true
but everyone whose sin put my Son on the cross
are killers too

Paul and David were murderers too
I will always love them
and I will always love you

and when you cry
in the darkest of night
I AM there to hold you tight
even though you might not
feel me there at all
and when you see
the empty seat at your table
know that I am able
to catch you every time you fall
Beloved

I've thrown your sin
as far as East is from West
a place only I can get to
but I choose to forget

I will wash you white
whiter than snow
one day you will be spotless
before my throne

I knew you before the foundations of the world
you will always be my precious little girl

I think many women who have had an abortion would not call themselves killers and would be offended at being called that, so the first line doesn't seem quite accurate. However, I believe that a baby lives and has a soul, even before they are born. (You can read my poems "Trash Day" and "Not Alone".) After an abortion, many women do experience guilt and depression. You succeed in portraying God's grace, and I really like the last line.
