THE BUTTERFLY
If I should not wake in the morning
Don't hang your head to cry
Instead always remember me
Each time you see a butterfly

Let me sail to my eternity
Without wishing I could have stayed
No don't shed a single tear
When they lay me in the grave

Life for me has troubles
A load that is so hard to bear
Let me take my freedom
Who know's what's waiting there

My journey will not lack apprehension
But, my fears will be put to rest
Just like that beautiful butterfly
I'll be free, No more hurt, No more regret

Just remember how much I love you
Go on, go ahead with your life
Keep our memories close beside you
And watch for the butterflies

Your poem took me back to my troubled days when I just signed up for WR.com. My profile was randomly selected as a photo of Monarch butterfly...and you are the first person who invited me and now I'm thinking that I wouldn't be here writing if you didn't. I truly thank you and I wish you the best!
