Hollow
A week ago you left me.
Hollow. A week since you
Departed. Wrenched from me
With agony - it seems that you
Gave up so soon - so left me
With only broken hopes and thoughts of you
That writhe and crease like paper
Consumed by flame - that dies and falls,
Black and fragile, crumbling under air.
That's me, because you're not there.

So sad. Tha you used the creased paper analogy is highly imaginative and creative. We know why you won the poetry contest last month.
