Dreamer
Music on the juke box, Football on TV No one taking very much notice of me, Sitting back and dreaming Of what my life could be So much to do before I die, and so much more to see. Thought my dreams were moving, Could see the light ahead But chances just keep slipping by, by hopes are clad in lead, Not feeling so much lonely, As numb and 'I don't care' Who would really miss me if I wasn't there? Plenty more to take the light, Plenty more to star, But I can't give up the feeling that one day I'll go far.
