No Name
I am a glass citadel don't come near me with your rocks,
In my world your words mean nothing just like time to ticking clocks.
I've been forever a lonely soldier walking in the sand,
Although at times I may need a loving hand.
You can watch my life unravel and fly away,
Just as living things do I'll turn to dust as I lay.
The storms roll in to calm my restless soul,
But leave all too soon emptying a once filled hole.
The storm took my soul as if a thief in the night,
It never was truly mine to start with so it went back to the sky outa sight.
I have a longing to make my life mean so much more,
But it was never meant to be for me; just another locked door.
My citadel has shattered now looking like crystals in the sun,
Its pointless to pick up the pieces they will eventually fuze back into one.
I always build up and tear down my own hopes and dreams,
The next time you see me look again because no one and nothing is ever as it seems.
