    • I am Crystal Murray. Born and raised in Fairbanks AK, currently residing in Kansas City, MO. I have been into writing since I was little and it is fiction that I enjoy writing the most. I do write a bit of poetry. My dream is to be a published author and have my works in a few other places around the net. I am hoping to get feedback, so that I can break free of my writer's block. I do have a huge fascination with vampires and the supernatural, but I am not a Twilight fan; most of my stories falling into that direction in some form or another. I am also a huge bookwork and in all honesty, that new devise that is out in stores, that electronic book that can hold over a thousand and something books on a touch screen I hate! I would beat anyone with the devise if they were to buy it for me. I hate that invention that much. There is nothing like holding a book in my hands and the feel of turning the pages as I read through the book.

        • Christine Feehan would have to be my all time favorite author. But also like Angela Knight, L.J. Smith, Amanda Ashley, Piers Anthony, the author of the Sookie Stackhouse books (Can't remember her name) also a big fan of the Dragonlance series.

        • Matrix trilogy, Final Fantasy 7:Advent Children, The Mummy movies. Don't really know too may screen writers, except maybe Gene Roddenberry, Mel Brooks, Tim Burton.

        • Disturbed, Korn, HIM, Darren Hayes, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Eiffile 65, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osborne

        • True Blood, Fringe, How I met Your Mother

        • I am a bit more into manga then American comics. But have not read any in a long time.

        • - Its one of my favorite places to meet new and creative people through role play.

        • reading, writing, role playing, video games.

Hello Sinality, One of the secrets of getting quality feedback is very simple - provide your own comments on the writings of those whose opinion you desire FIRST. "Telling me to read your work and give you feedback" comes across as extremely selfish and demotivates me from commenting. I've not received notification about receiving comments from you on my submitted work. And like you, my personal time has value; and it's not less valuable than your own. As for your "writing block", there are several approaches to take. 1) Read the wrintings of others - seeing others' perspectives can create paradigm shifts in one's outlook 2) Give quality feedback on what you've read - doing so can help stimulate the synapses of the brain in new ways 3) Join or begin a local writers' group - when doing so, don't expect to be coddled 4) Encourage others to begin writing - it allows you to tap into your experience and renews your own confidence 5) Try a different approach to how and where you write; I use a clipboard and love its portability --Joe Breunig Reaching Towards His Unbounded Glory
