...You are, and have always been a true source of light and love. Your words of inspiration bring 'clarity' to and in the world in which I exist. As always... thank you Mel

Thank you for you comment on chapter two. I'm having problems posting writings for some reason; system keeps locking up. If you want to email me at jenifergoodman@insightbb.com I'll be happy to send you the file and you can read the whole novel. (o; Hopefully it'll be out for purchase soon on lulu.com but I had to change the name to Blood on the Bluegrass since I discovered that there are about 10 other books titled Tainted Blood on Amazon right now.lol

Here listening with one ear to an unscheduled speech by our new Mr. Obama to Congress--detailing his new plan to revamp our economy--I was in the hospital on election day and didn't get to vote for him, though saw all the activities on TV--which is when I saw myself in the mirror in my hospital room's bathroom, and was shocked how I had aged and somehow 'shrunk' after a sleepless night in the emergency room--like your wonderful poem 'inheritance', but know, too, that my imagination and some skill has been passed down to me which seems to exist separate from the good and bad days. Have had some of the latter-health and worry, that you know about as well. I've been working on "Emma's Gold" which is taking on a life of it's own and have gotten a lot of encouragement from everyone here, which is gratifying. I've no idea where it's going and take it a chapter at a time. Good to read your stuff again and hope you are feeling better!

Hullo my friends,
It's been a while since I've been able to come into the writing room as I've been away from home and have had very limited and slow internet access. I'll be back home in a couple of weeks and looking forward to getting back in touch with you all and to posting some more writing here. Thank you for the lovely Christmas wishes. I hope you've all had the most wonderful and peaceful time and that 2009 is going to be a year to remember for all the right/write reasons. Mel
