Hi Jon...what are my chances of you putting your signature along side of mine in my new novel...The Loving Tree? I am currently trying to get it done. I honestly think it has a good chance of becoming a screen play but I am new at this...would you mind taking a peek at the first few chapters? No strings attached...and I am not 'weird.' Thanks, Jeni

Hi Jon, it's been a great experience getting to know you. I'm really looking forward to meeting you in New York City at ThrillerFest 2008. Take care and keep writing, I can't wait to read your next book!

Jon Land is the acclaimed author of 27 novels, 15 of which are bestsellers, including The Last Prophecy, Blood Diamonds, The Walls of Jericho, The Pillars of Solomon, A Walk in the Darkness, Keepers of the Gate, and The Blue Widows. His last book, The Seven Sins: The Tyrant Ascending was named one of the Top 5 Thrillers of the Year by the Library Journal and one of Borders Best Books of 2008 in the Thriller/Horror Genre. It will be available in paperback this coming June.

His next book, STRONG ENOUGH TO DIE, will be published by Forge this coming May and is already his most critically acclaimed book yet. Check out just a sampling of the early response:

“Like a skilled painter, Land mixes a contemporary conspiracy thriller with the Wild West legends of the Texas Rangers. . . . Land is one of the best thriller writers out there and his latest deserves a wide audience. Don’t miss this one!” --Library Journal

"Land (The Seven Sins) introduces a tough original heroine, Caitlin Strong, a fifth-generation Texas Ranger, in the first of what hopefully will be a long crime series. . . . The revelations are constant, the characters compelling, and the action fast and furious.” --Publisher’s Weekly

“Mention the Texas Rangers to a mystery buff and chances are good that you’ll conjure up the image of either Tommy Lee Jones or Chuck Norris. The lead of Jon Land’s Strong Enough to Die is emphatically not long either of those crusty stalwarts, but she’s got all the toughness necessary to bring the bad guys to justice. . . . Broad, ambitious, and plenty dangerous.” --Kirkus

“Resist rushing to finish this book. Instead, savor every word of Land’s writing which pushes the envelope to the edge and beyond. You’ll be riveted. Caitlin and Cort Wesley are fascinating and original characters, and Land is a creative genius.” --Romantic Times
