Robbo started with:
Those with cars ran to them. Those without fled into the dense forest which lined the small road.  This dark, unforgiving country was the worst place imaginable for this kind of thing to happen. Avery thought so at least; there was no water, no nearby town. Only the thick pine forest and the desolate road for company.
Avery pulled himself up from the ground, a warm trickle of blood presented itself on his cheek as the wound in his hair line swelled. His eyes danced in yellow light as an abandoned coach exploded into flame. Various people rushed past him as they fled the horrific scene before them. Gathering himself the best he could, Avery made his way through the dozens of abandoned vehicles which littered the beauty spot's car park. "Some beauty spot" he thought as he found his car and sat himself in the driving seat violently. He turned the key....nothing! "come on" he said aloud as the stubborn car remained still and silent.
A second flurry of survivors fled past Avery's car as he continued his useless attempt at salvation. A scream from behind him revealed his worst nightmare....they were coming!
