    • Always liked to play with words but wasn't a good speller. Came across a college
prospectus and found my fingers doing the scrolling. The time was right for me and I
went and enrolled on a IT/ maths course. Ever since then I have got the college bug
and at my age I have just taken my GCSE/ litrature English exam and am waiting for
      the results.

I am hoping for a good result so I can be an example to my eighteen year old son, who
was seventeen when I started my journey, to show him it can be done if you really want
it and work hard at it.

In conjunction with the GCSE I studied a creative writing course too.

My perseverance rewarded me with a (B) How great is that?

        • Not a big reader as I haven't much time for it. I read if it is necessary to do so. My author that I have meny of is Danielle Steel. I love her stories because they are light hearted. Another two titles that I have read is, A Child Called 'it' from Dave Pelzer and Waiting in vain by Colin Channer. Very different in contrast.

          That sums me up.

        • At work I come into contact with a lot of diversity. I love movies and as long as it has a story and keeps my attention they get the thumbs up.

        • Again I am surrounded by classical, contemprary, jaz, opera, motown and reggae because I work in an arts centre.

Your interpretation of my piece is correct. Thanks for taking the time to read it.

To all fellow prose writers, poem builders, novelists etc, be as critical as you like
about my pieces of work. I welcome all views as this is how I question the question
and think outside my own comfort zone.
