    • I have always been bad at describing myself but I guess this would be the section where people could get the nitty-gritty out of me.

I was born and raised in the wonderful state of California and am a native of Scott Peterson country. That's really the only way to describe Modesto, once you throw in Peterson, people have the "oh I know where your talking about!" look on their face so I always include that in my intro. Well Scott and Gary [Condit], are always an excellent ice breaker.

I graduated from a CSU a few years back with a degree in Finance as my fascination with numbers grow to unruly heights. I never really wrote back in college because I couldn’t afford the leisure but in my spare time I always read. Reading was my special scapegoat and often got stares from family members who thought that reading was like Nostradamus's beliefs. My favorite was always horror books. Everything from R.L. Stine [I know some of you loved Goosebumps and Fear Street!] to Stephen King and everything in between. You name it I read it. Scholastic, Troll, and Arrow always were best friends of mine when they came to visit me at school.

I currently work at a financial company but my real passion has always been writing, but I do need to eat and take wonderful vacations around the world with my husband, so finance is definitely paying the bills.

I can be a bit sporadic at times. I hate ventriloquists and love clowns. I love the beaches of Hawaii and hate the desert. And I love to read but sometimes am burdened by writing.

        • The Whole Entire Harry Potter Series [I've read all them at least 3 times!]
The Other Boleyn Girl and The Boleyn Inheritance [I'm really not into historical fiction, but these 2 rocked!]
Confessions of a Shopaholic/Gate Crasher [For guilty pleasure :-)]
All of Christopher Pike's books with an emphasis of the Last Vampire [love all the Indian god references!]
R.L. Stine [ I read all of his books growing up and I am still fond of them]
The Shining and It [Both the movies and books scared the sam heck out of me]
Veil of Roses [ I have never cried so much while reading a book!]
Are you there God, it's me Margaret [helped me mature]
Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great [helped me be a bada$$ :-)]

&&& these are the books I am currently reading:
          The Green Mile
Confessions of a Shopaholic and Baby
          Something Wicked this Way Comes
          -- & Stephen King's on Writing
