    • I work as a university librarian in southwestern Ohio, and I wanted to do something special for my daughters. Consequently, I wrote a princess fairy tale based on bedtime stories I used to tell them. The girls reacted to the bedtime stories by identifying with the young princess characters. As a result, my fairy tale involves an adventure with two princesses rather than just one.

I am interested in publishing the fairy tale as the beginning of a series that follows the adventures of the princess characters as they grow into women. I am eager to receive support from writers and experts in the form of constructive feedback and encouragement. In return, I will be happy to read and review manuscripts upon request.

In addition to my fairy tale, I am also interested in getting feedback on a synopsis and a cover letter. And lastly, I am eager to receive tips about how to reach legitimate literary agents who would potentially be most interested in selling a princess fairy tale series.

        • I enjoy books and plays by the following authors:
          R.L. Stevenson
          A. Dumas
          J. Alexander Thom
          E. Hemingway
          W. Shakespeare (the comedies)
          J. Milton

        • The Natural, The Man from Snowy River, The Bounty, The Patriot, Dances with Wolves, The Alamo, and Glory are a few of my all time favorite "Guy" movies. My two favorite kids movies are Fly Away Home and The Black Stallion.

        • I am still a man of the 80s: The Police, Genesis, U2, and REM are my favorite bands.

        • I loved great comedy sitcoms like Friends, Cheers,

Hello,Ifound your story very interesting but one thing that you should keep in mind is simple, children have very good imaginations and short attention spans so you don't need to be quite as descriptive and words that they will simply understand to help them see the story and characters is much more effective . your great, just pass the story by your daughters or some other girls they will let you know with their reactions then you will know exactly what to do. Good Luck,Jewel

Hi Jim! I'd be happy to read your cover letter draft. Those are tricky, and it's always helpful to have a fresh eye to find things that can be improved or added. Is it on your page? All the best, -Kayla
