My name is Floyd the Dog. I live in Portugal, Europe.

When I was a puppy my Mum told me I would have to leave home. It was up to me to make my own fortune.

Luckily I found my Boss, and we adopted each other. Now I live with him, and his special mate, Dear. There are also some Aristocratic Dogs, led by Roza the Doberman.

My best friends are the local pack of ordinary dogs. Some of them work for humans, but others are Dogs of Independent Means. I think humans call them strays.

I earn extra bones and bikkies by relating stories about all of them. Not many dogs do that. I have written two books, and a third is on the way.

Nowdays the Boss is my Secretary. He is better at that sort of thing than I am. My problem, is that my paws are too big for the keyboard! Dear is in charge of catering. Popsy, who is a bit of a scatterbrain, acts as my personal assistant, and runs my Fan Club.

All in all I lead a Dog's Life, and am always Dog Tired.

		Max is doinf very well indeed, Floyd! The last couple of days he's shown there is still some puppy in that body, and he is eating very well. His Mom comes home Sunday, so I think Max and I are in the clear now.
